And lying in her own ruin, she's still beautiful.

I was in an odd frame of mind when I took this. It made me smile, though.

I played around with a few borders, but I couldn't decide on anything, so I left it as is.

the water droplets are very luscius on the smooth petals

Thank you. I'd originally planned on making it just the standard black and white, but this was just so much prettier. =)

i really like this one, the blue toning is great.
dead flowers are so pretty... i had a few dead hibiscuses that i put in my pocket and untentionally left them there when i did laundry... (which resulted in little pieces of dead flower all over my clothes, oops)
:iconnirach:
Blue is an excellent colour, and it works brilliantly with this piece. I love how the flower is partially dead...'Tis mildily, only mildly, depressing in a way, though, the 'alive' side is rather upbringing. If that makes any sense to anyone but me, woot. Well done, again, .

Now, of all the things I've left in my pockets, that's one I haven't done.
And yeah, I was out in the garden, taking a picture of another flower and I looked over and went, "whoa!" Then, of course, I made with the clicking.
:iconenola-rayne:
Makes perfect sense to me. That's what I was thinking when I first saw it. =)
Thank you!

You're welcome

beautiful colors. excellent shot. flowers tend to be a bit overdone, it's definitely nice to see one that breaks the mold every once and awhile :)
:iconenola-rayne:
So we seem to have this mold breaking thing in common then, eh? =P
But really, thanks. It's actually one of my favorite shots of mine.
